Spring magic: plum blossoms and raindrops. The plum trees are like pink clouds right now. The bout of chilly weather we’ve had the last few days seems to be making them last a bit longer. These are from this morning’s dog walk.

I used Raw Therapee for raw conversion and basic edits. Then used the Precision Contrast filter in Topaz Studio 2 to remove some of the busyness, so the raindrops stood out a bit more. Then finished up in the GIMP to crop, resize and add a watermark. I used the workflow described in: Photo processing workflow: preparing photos to use on the web using open-source software.
