One-to-three Photo Processing Challenge

Badge for the one-to-three photo processing challenge.

Welcome to the one-to-three photo processing challenge.

Have you experimented with some of the many different photo processing methods out there? Why not join in and share some of your creations?

This monthly challenge is simple: take one photo and get creative with it by processing it three different ways. Put the original and your creations into a post on your blog or on Instagram. If you can, please include a description of how you got your effects in case others would like to give it a try.

Link your post to the month’s one-to-three photo processing challenge post, listed below, by writing a comment that contains the link to your post (ping backs don’t work). Then take a look at what others are doing.

If you don’t have a blog you could post a gallery on Instagram with #tsc_1to3.

Here is a badge you can use if you like:

Since the beginning of the pandemic I have been spending a lot of time experimenting with different methods of photo editing. There are many different programs available, many are open-source, free or low cost, some are for computers, others for cell phones. There are so many different possibilities. I started this challenge to give people a chance to share their creative work.

There are some ideas for effects using the GIMP and RawTherapee (my preferred photo processing workflow) on Nuts & Bolts & Tools.

I am also working on a YouTube channel with ideas for creative photo processing: the Squirrel Chase.
