A gift that keeps on giving
My sister gave me these African violets for Christmas. They came into bloom for the first time in their cute little lives this week. She started them from her own plant. Carefully nurturing them from leaf cuttings. I’ve always loved this plant of hers the intense color of the flowers is wonderful.

I used Raw Therapee for raw conversion and basic edits, then followed with the GIMP for resizing, a vignette and watermark. I used the workflow described in: Photo processing workflow: preparing photos to use on the web using open-source software.
